The 150-foot-tall Ferris wheel in Downtown, named the KC Wheel, announced the grand opening to the public is just right around the corner.
The Ferris wheel and the accompanied Pennyway Putt, a 16-hole mini-golf course, will be opening in November 2023. An exact date has not been set, however, this opening window shows a timely turnaround since the developer ICON Experiences began construction in August.
The 150-foot-tall addition to the Kansas City skyline features 36 enclosed climate-controlled gondolas and an exclusive VIP gondola. The wheel is planned to be open 365 days a year. Guests will also be able to enjoy a variety of food and drink options at the Wheel House.
