Two Overland Park Commercial Realty Firms Announce Merger

NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg and Lee & Associates Kansas City, a pair of commercial real estate agencies based in Overland Park, announced today that they had merged, effective Jan. 1, and will operate as NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg Heartland.

In a news release announcing the merger, Managing Partner Mike Sonnenbergsaid that the name of the combined organizatiosn would become NAI Heartland Commercial on Jan. 1, 2017. The merged firm will off retail, office and industrial brokerage services, as well as investment services, property management, and commercial real-estate consulting services. 

With eight partners, the merged firm will be based at 4400 College Boulevard, Suite 170, Overland Park, KS 66211, the former offices of NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg. Employees from Lee & Associates will relocate there as remodeled and expanded office space is completed this spring, said Nathan Anderson, one of the NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg Heartland partners.

Officials say the merger will allow current and future clients to benefit from a wider range of brokerage and property management services.

 “Nathan Anderson and I believe that this merger allows our combined agencies a broader, stronger platform on which to compete in Kansas City and globally,” Sonnenberg said. “This merger will help to strengthen and improve service lines, and add experience at the local Principal level for those Kansas City area clients who value a locally owned and controlled service provider.”
