Trozzolo Communications Group to Acquire Midan Marketing

Kansas City-based marketing communications agency Trozzolo Communications Group announced its acquisition of Midan Marketing, bolstering the company’s services in the meat industry sector.

Trozzolo specializes in full-service, multi-channel advertising, branding, PR and digital solutions. Midan’s legacy in the meat and agriculture sector will deepen Trozzolo’s existing food and beverage capabilities, according to a release.

Founded in 2004 by Danette Amstein and Michael Uetz, Midan works closely with packers, processors, retailers, foodservice organizations, trade associations, government agencies, animal health organizations and additional industry affiliates.

Amstein, Uetz, as well as all but one of Midan’s team members, will be part of the acquisition. Midan Marketing will maintain its name and identity, operating as a distinct brand within Trozzolo Communications Group.

In June 2025, Trozzolo acquired Milwaukee-based Punch PR. Together, the two acquisitions increased the Trozzolo team to more than 100 associates. Trozzolo operates offices in both Kansas City and Milwaukee, with associates located across the U.S.

The family-owned Trozzolo Communications Group was recognized for its expansion in the 2025 Best of Business Kansas City Awards, where it won a gold ranking in the best advertising agencies (small) category.
