TreviPay Develops Cross-Currency B2B Payment System

Overland Park's TreviPay announced it has expanded its payment technology through the addition of a new 'cross-currency' transition system for business buyers and merchants.

TreviPay has added a new capability to its business-to-business payment platform for merchants around the world allowing sales between different currencies.

TreviPay, headquartered in Overland Park, operates in 32 countries and 20 currencies and now can facilitate transactions where a buyer wants to be invoiced and pay in a different currency than the money that will eventually be disbursed to the merchant, according to a release.

“While global commerce capabilities are increasingly important, not all merchants are able to establish a bank account in every preferred currency of their customers,” TreviPay CEO Brandon Spear said. “TreviPay’s enhanced technology and cross-currency solution empowers geographical expansion and makes global trade more accessible to merchants across all sales channels.”

In the release, TreviPay noted that 72 percent of global business buyers are more loyal to a company that offers their preferred payment method, according to the company’s own research.

The newly added cross-currency capabilities are notably ample opportunities in the manufacturing, online retail and travel sectors.

TreviPay has also rolled out portal improvements the ease and efficiency for customers, including changing primary customer contacts quickly, updating trusted device sign-ins and expanding options for company buyer hierarchy capabilities.
