The KC Wheel Opens This Week

The latest addition to Kansas City’s skyline, the KC Wheel and Pennway Putt is officially opening on Thursday, Dec. 14.

The entertainment district will be open from noon to 10 p.m.

The KC Wheel was announced and in development since August and features 36 completely enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas standing 150 feet tall. Pennway Putt, a 16-hole minigolf course will also open alongside the observation wheel, according to developer ICON Experiences.

Tickets must be purchased online for designated times. Operating hours for the KC Wheel will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. December 15 through January 2, 2024.
