Stormont Vail Health Names New Chief Medical Officer

On the heels of the announcement in September that Stormont Vail Health CEO Randy Peterson would retire this spring, another official has now moved up the ranks.

Stormont Vail Health announced this week that Kevin Dishman will be promoted to senior vice president and chief medical officer. Dishman replaces Robert Kenagy who is taking over as CEO for Peterson.

Dishman is no rookie to the Topeka hospital. Coming on board in 2000, he is currently the vice president of acute care services and will assume his new role in March as the other leadership roles rotate.
