Mission-based SkillPath, a professional development training nonprofit, announced it has named Erica Jones as its first chief growth officer.
In this newly created role for the organization, Jones will lead SkillPath’s enterprise growth strategy, with responsibility for revenue generation, demand generation and pipeline creation. She will also oversee identifying new market opportunities, geographic expansions and strategic partnerships that position SkillPath to serve more professionals and organizations.
Jones brings over 20 years of executive experience to the role. Before joining SkillPath, Jones served as a vice president at CBRE for over a year. Prior to that, she served as the senior vice president of the brand at Cerris, formerly MMC Corp, for over 15 years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
“I have always been passionate about training and development, and I look forward to leveraging Skillpath’s powerful legacy and help them achieve new heights. We want to be the leading provider of learning and development,” Jones said in a release. “Growth at SkillPath is about more than increasing revenue — it is about expanding access, deepening client relationships and helping more professionals and organizations perform at their best.”
In May, SkillPath announced its appointment of Brian Morris as its new chief executive officer. Morris succeeded SkillPath’s former CEO, Michele Markey, who announced she would be retiring from her role in 2025.
“SkillPath is entering a defining chapter in its history. We are building a stronger, more innovative company that is raising the standard for what clients should expect from a learning and development partner. I am excited to welcome Erica and look forward to the impact that her strategic vision and expertise will have on our clients, our team, and the future of SkillPath,” Morris said in the release.
