Saint Luke’s Names Next President: Julie Quirin

Saint Luke’s Health System announced its next president will be Julie Quirin, she will begin her new role effective November 1.

Quirin, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, brings over 25 years of Saint Luke’s leadership experience to her new position. Prior to her new role, Quirin served as senior vice president of hospital operations, CEO of Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, senior vice president of continuum of care services, and president and CEO of Saint Luke’s South Hospital. Most recently, Quirin served as COO and Senior Vice President for Saint Luke’s Health System.

Melinda L. Estes, MD, Saint Luke’s Health System president and Chief Executive Officer since 2011, will continue to serve as CEO, until her retirement at the end of 2023, according to a release.

“Julie is an exemplary leader with extensive industry experience, a strong understanding of all aspects of our organization and a proven track record of success,” Estes said in a release. “I am honored to name Julie to this position, and I look forward to seeing her expertise and leadership in action as we lead Saint Luke’s into the future.”
