The St. Louis-based accounting firm RubinBrown LLP has named a new managing partner for the Kansas City office.
On Tuesday, the firm announced Megan Knoblauch as managing partner of its Kansas City office, effective June 1, according to a release. Knoblauch succeeds Todd Pleimann who has served as the Kansas City managing partner for 19 years.
Pleimann will move to a growth role, driving expanded business into the firm while also serving clients, according to the release.
“Megan is the perfect fit to lead our Kansas City office into the future, and continue to inspire our team members, and provide superior quality and service to our clients, as she has done since she started at RubinBrown,” Pleimann said.
As the new managing partner, Knoblauch will lead the Kansas City office team and will oversee client service, civic involvement, business development and business operations for the firm’s clients.
Knoblauch received her bachelor of science in accounting from The University of Kansas.
Founded in 1952, RubinBrown has revenue of approximately $200 million with 950 team members in six offices including Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Nashville, and St. Louis.
RubinBrown placed No.6 in Top Area Accounting/Consulting Firms ranked by number of certified public accountants (CPAs) in the Kansas City area in Ingram’s Power Book 2024 edition. The firm employed 66 CPAs for the Kansas City area in 2022.
