Rent Growth in Kansas City Slows



Apartment rents in Kansas City have slowed down in their increases year over year, but not as much as in other parts of the country.

Rent growth was at 3.3 percent year over year in the metro, down from the average increase of 3.6 percent since December 2017.

In the United States, rent growth increased 2.9 percent, down from 3.4 percent, Zillow reported.

The average rent in Kansas City is $1,069.
