Regent Bank Announce First Locations in Kansas City, St. Louis

Tulsa-based Regent Bank announced its plans to expand into the Kansas City and St. Louis areas, adding a commercial lending office in both cities.

The Kansas City office is located at 6247 Brookside Blvd., Suite 240, while the St. Louis area office will be located in Chesterfield. The new offices will begin operating as loan production offices (LPOs) while Regent works to secure permanent branch locations in both cities, according to a release.

Before these additions, the bank’s only other Missouri location was located in Springfield.

Jason Ramthun will serve as market president for both Kansas City and St. Louis. Zach Fischer, senior vice president and senior commercial lender, will lead commercial lending efforts in Kansas City. The rest of the commercial lending team will consist of five employees.

“Regent Bank is a relationship bank, and our goal is to make banking as effortless and enjoyable as possible for busy businesspeople,” Kouplen said in the release. “Jason and his talented team have deep relationships in St. Louis and Kansas City. They are the local bankers, and our job is to provide them with resources and remove obstacles to allow them to serve their valued clients.”

Founded in Nowata, Oklahoma, in 1898, Regent Bank—formerly known as First National Bank of Nowata—operates in Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri. Since its acquisition by Regent Capital Corporation in 2008, the bank has grown from $72 million to more than $2.2 billion in assets.

The bank now operates 10 locations across the three states it serves.
