Overland Park-based Quality Infratech Intelligence announced it has hired Mark Rainey as executive vice president of development services.
In his new role, Rainey will help guide the company’s development activities, working closely with Eric Hanson, vice president of construction and development services.
Rainey comes to QII from Richmond, Virginia-based Hourigan, director of mission-critical construction projects and helped build the firm’s data center practice for over 1.5 years. Before that, he served in several key roles, including project executive at HITT Contracting Inc. for over 9 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
“QII brings the right disciplines together so teams can make informed decisions as requirements become clear. That flexibility is increasingly important for projects supporting AI, advanced manufacturing, and other energy-intensive operations,” Rainey said in the release.
Jeremy Bardin, a QII advisory board member and former co-president of HITT Contracting, helped choose Rainey’s appointment and is actively building a development and delivery team that will support QII’s growth, according to the release.
“Mark has done that for major customers in demanding environments where execution matters. He understands what it takes to deliver safely, meet expectations, and keep complex projects moving. That is the standard we are setting at QII,” Bardin said in the release.
QII is an infrastructure and energy solutions business and a division of Quality Growth Companies. Earlier this month, QII hired Adam Goldstein to become the company’s chief financial officer.
