Prime Digital Academy is Expanding to Kansas City

Three thousand tech jobs went unfilled in Kansas City during 2018 – In response to this apparent tech talent shortage, Prime Digital Academy is set to open its second campus in KC with the hope of “[bringing] more diverse talent into the fold and [duplicating] our success for students looking to break into the industry,” according to a statement from the academy.

Prime, a full-time immersion tech learning program, was started in Minneapolis, and its Kansas City campus will be based in the Kessler Building at the Novel Coworking Space with Scott Bromander as head of campus development and lead instructor.

Since its inception in 2015, Prime has helped over 700 students go from technical novices to entry-level software engineers in just five months, with over 86 percent of Prime students landing jobs in the field.

Prime Digital Academy-Kansas City is now accepting applications until Jan. 25 – Pre-work will begin on March 4, and classroom work will begin April 15.
