Price Chopper Anchors New Mixed-Use Development in Blue Springs

Block & Company, Inc. announced a new mixed-use retail development coming to Blue Springs, which will be anchored by the Cosentino’s Price Chopper grocery store.

The new 11,732 square-foot mixed-use retail space is located at 1500 NW North Ridge Drive. The space, dubbed MajorLux Two, will be located south of the MajorLux Luxury Apartments, a 123-unit apartment complex that officially opened in 2023. The first floor of MajorLux Two will be retail space and is currently available to lease.

Cosentino’s Price Chopper, located at 1305 SW State Rte 7, is south of the new development.

The mixed-use retail development marks the second phase of the Blue Springs’ “first luxury apartment community,” the Block & Company said in a release.

Block & Company lists full-service restaurant concepts, yoga studios, dry cleaners, salons, and health services as ideal uses for available retail space. Block & Company is now leasing retail spaces ranging from 1,200 to 11,371 square feet.

The company said it plans to complete the MajorLux Two project by summer 2027.

Block & Company’s Bill Maas and Daniel Brocato are listed as the leasing agents for the property.
