Philadelphia Company Completes Purchase of Industrial Property in Lenexa

Philadelphia-based Alterra IOS has acquired 16 industrial outdoor storage facilities from TruGreen, including its 15,200 square food facility in Lenexa, Kansas.

Alterra announced the acquisition of 16 locations totaling 34.8 usable acres from the lawncare service provider TruGreen, according to a release Monday. Alterra acquired the properties through a 25-year triple-net sale leaseback. John Fink of CBRE facilitated the sale on behalf of TruGreen.

In December 2023, the firm acquired 17 sites from TruGreen.

The 16 properties make up a collective 326,400 square feet of warehousing, maintenance shop and office space. One Kansas City area property located at 8420 Cole Parkway in Lenexa was part of the deal. The warehouse is 15,200 square feet in size and sits on a 4.38-acre lot.

Other locations in the deal include properties in Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Columbus, OH; Denver, CO; Minneapolis MN; Washington D.C. and others

Alterra currently has more than 300 industrial outdoor storage sites nationwide. In 2024, Alterra acquired a total of 102 IOS locations across the nation.
