Park University Expands Again

Park University is expanding once more, this time to Gilbert, Arizona.  The University has been approved by the Higher Learning Commission and the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education to start classes in Fall of 2018.  That fall term starts on October 15 and will begin by offering adult learners accelerated, eight-week evening classes. The hope is that enrollment will grow to more than 300 students by year three with plans to add traditional 16-week classes during the day.

The available degrees would be offered online or in face-to-face classroom settings.  Undergraduate degrees the university would offer include business administration/management, communication studies, criminal justice administration as well as fitness and wellness.  Graduate programs would include master of business administration, master of education in education technology, master of education in educational leaders with principal certification, master of healthcare administration and master of public administration.

“Park University’s commitment to providing affordable and sought-after degree programs has been central to our mission for 143 years,” said President Greg Gunderson, Ph.D. “With the opening of Park’s Gilbert Campus, we are excited to expand our footprint in Arizona while meeting more students’ needs through the transformative power of higher education.”

This is the 42nd campus that Park has added to its list of institutions. Besides the flagship campus in Parkville, they boast campuses in Independence, Kansas City, Missouri and Lenexa.  You can also find Parkville in Austin and El Paso, Texas, Barstow and Victorville, California as well as 33 military installations across the country.  Parkville also has a number of online courses available.
