Springfield Mo.-based OMB Bank announced it has converted its Lenexa office into a retail and commercial bank branch.

OMB entered the Kansas City market with its Lenexa loan production office in June located at the Lenexa City Center. Soon after in October, the office received FDIC approval for its branch application and began its retail operations on December 20.

“This strategic move reflects our unwavering commitment to providing a better banking experience for our valued customers in Lenexa and the greater Kansas City area,” president and CEO Mark Harrington said in a release. “By expanding our services, we aim to become a trusted financial partner in every sense. We look forward to building lasting relationships, contributing to local economic development and delivering the exceptional service that OMB is known for to our customers.”

The branch is staffed by seven OMB teammates including community bank president Doug Parker.

“At OMB, our commitment to the community goes beyond transactions – it’s about building meaningful connections, understanding the unique needs of our customers and providing personalized solutions,” community bank president Doug Parker said. “This transition underscores our dedication to becoming a trusted partner for all of our customers, fostering lasting relationships in the heart of Lenexa and the Kansas City community.”
