Olathe City Council Approves 30 Acre Rezoning For Apartments

The City of Olathe has approved a rezoning request from developers wanting to implement more apartment units in the area.

Last week, the Olathe City Council approved the request from FSDA LLC to rezone approximately 30 acres just College Boulevard and east of K-7 into a medium-density multi-family housing district. Prior to the rezoning approval, the land was intended as an industrial district.

FSDA plans to construct 10 four-story apartment buildings or 552 units in total.

The development team is led by Block Real Estate Services LLC.

The Olathe City Council will next need to approve a final development plan before construction.
