NextStage Clinical Research announced it is opening and operating a new clinical research site network center in Kansas City.

The research site is now active with NextStage team members already in place, according to a release. The Kansas City location will conduct Phases Ib through Phase III clinical trials for biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device companies across multiple specialties, including cardiovascular and orthopedics.

“Our mission is to accelerate medical innovation and ensure patients have access to cutting-edge therapies and treatment options,” Interim Chief Operating Officer at NextStage, Julie Rausch, said in the release.“Now, we have another location where this will happen along with our existing research sites nationwide.”

Based in Houston, Texas, NextStage operates research sites in nine states and is dedicated to growing at a strong yet steady pace to be able to offer even more clinical trial site network solutions. The new Kansas City location expands NextStage’s footprint in the Midwest region and allows the researcher to offer vital clinical research opportunities to local patients and the broader community.

“The more locations and indications we are able to provide our clients in biopharmaceuticals, the better we can help advance medicine and make a difference for the greater good,” Co-Founder and CEO of NextStage, Robert Schwing, said in the release. “It is our goal to not only meet but exceed the needs of our current and future clients. Expanding to new areas for our company helps us be able to do just that.”

NextStage did not disclose an address for the new Kansas City facility.
