In a time where access to healthcare has grown substantially and is needed more than ever, knowing where to go to receive quality care is at the forefront of my people’s minds.

A related report showed the top three hospitals in Kansas City, listing the University of Kansas Hospital at No. 1, Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City at No. 3, and North Kansas City Hospital at No. 4.

“Within a state or metro area, regional hospital rank is determined by a hospital’s performance in the adult specialty rankings analysis and by its scores across each of the ten procedure and condition areas we evaluate,” the report said.

An overview of the University of Kansas Hospital with U.S. News’ report wrote that the hospital nationally ranks in six adult specialties and rated high performing in five adult specialties and eight procedures and conditions.

For Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, the report wrote that it nationally ranked in one adult specialty and rated high performing in four adult specialties and eight procedures and conditions.
