Missouri Invests $1 Million in Savannah, MO Kids

The Missouri Department of Economic Development, through the Missouri Start Smart initiative, will authorize a $1 million grant to the City of Savannah for the improvement of early childhood education. The funds will be used to construct a new Early Childhood Education Center with capacity to serve 80 children.

The center will be staffed by professional educators and will serve as a teaching accreditation location for education majors at Missouri Western State University and North Central Missouri College.
