Missouri health director faces pushback, resigns

Just days prior to a confirmation deadline for the role, current Missouri Department of Health Director, Don Kauerauf, has resigned. Senators adjourned for the week without taking up Kauerauf’s nomination. Gov. Parson has temporarily appointed Richard Moore to lead the department.
