Missouri COVID Cases Top 1,300, Kansas Sees 428

The COVID-19 spread is growing in both Missouri and Kansas. As of yesterday, the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services reported that there are 1,327 cases and 14 deaths, spread across counties around the state. In Kansas there are currently 428 cases and nine deaths.

There have been 15,645 tests done in Missouri so far and Kansas officials say they currently have a two-week supply, but more are on the way that could equate to 700 to 1,000 tests daily.

Meanwhile, in Johnson County, Kan., where there have been more than 100 cases, the Board of Commissioners approved $400,000 in funding to purchase thousands of more tests in the county.

In Kansas City, Mo., three members of the Kansas City Police Department have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
