Missouri Cost of Living Among America’s Lowest

According to a second-quarter measurement from the Missouri Department of Economic Development, Missouri has the 8th lowest cost of living among the fifty States.

The Cost of Living Index is calculated using data from the Council for Community & Economic Research, an organization that collects information provided on a volunteer basis by cities throughout the country.

The most expensive state to live in, according to the index, is Hawaii. The least expensive is Mississippi.
