Kansas City-based Lockton has found a new chief operating officer to help grow its People Solutions business.
Lockton announced it has appointed Lisa Hawker to the role of COO, according to a Tuesday release. Hawker will officially join Lockton in July. She will serve as COO of the company’s People Solutions in the Kansas City, Birmingham, Des Moines, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Minneapolis, and Omaha regions.
Before joining Lockton, Hawker spent two decades at Hylant, where she most recently served as the chief growth officer. Hylant is an insurance and brokerage provider headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. Prior to that, she served as Hylant’s president of employee benefits operations for nearly 15 years, where she led the national employee benefits team and created specialty practices for the firm. She also worked at Marsh Inc. in various practice and sales leadership roles for over 5 years.
“She’s [Hawker] an innovative, forward-thinking leader with a deep understanding of the industry, and I am excited for all of the ways her expertise will benefit our entire U.S. organization,” Lockton’s U.S. president, Tim Ryan, said in the release.
Hawker will be based in Kansas City and will report to Ryan.
“I’m honored to join Lockton at such a pivotal time of growth and transformation,” Hawker said in the release. “Lockton’s reputation as a client-centric and people-first business resonates deeply with me. I am excited to collaborate with talented teams as we continue to evolve and elevate our People Solutions business.”
Earlier this year, Lockton announced a flurry of leadership roles, including the appointment of Tim Meacham to the role of president of People Solutions. Then Lockton announced it added Paul Rodriguez as the leader of its National Surety Practice, and soon after announced it established a new Digital Office, led by Claude Yoder, to help drive innovation.
