Liberty Logistics Center adds growing Kansas City tenant

Scarbrough Warehousing will be moving its operations to new space inside the Liberty Logistics Center industrial park located at U.S. Highway 69 and Liberty Parkway. The move to the 62.42-acre park will triple Scarbrough’s current space in Kansas City as it continues to grow and expand.

Scarbrough Warehousing announced it will move into 226,000 Class A square feet within Liberty Logistics Center, a 62.42-acre industrial park at U.S. Highway 69 and Liberty Parkway.

Founded in 1984 and based in Kansas City, The Scarbrough Group encompasses warehousing, international freight forwarding, customs brokerage and domestic trucking operations.

The new third-party logistics facility will occupy part of a $70 million, 715,000-square-foot building. Developer Lane4 Property Group Inc. broke ground on the land in August on a speculative basis.

Scarbrough Warehousing’s new facility will triple its warehouse space in the Kansas City region, providing modernized equipment as the business continues scaling operations to meet new demand, it said in a release.
