The Lenexa Planning Commission has approved the final plans for Canyon Ridge Apartments, a 346-unit multifamily residential development.

The Canyon Ridge Apartments development will be located at the northwest corner of K-10 Highway and Canyon Creek Boulevard. The project includes 346 dwelling units distributed among 28 buildings on an approximately 36-acre site.

The project has two building types, a 12-unit building and a 14-unit building, consisting of two- and three-story units. Each building will include attached garages for residents.

In addition to the apartments, Canyon Ridge will include an 80-bed nursing home and a 6,100-square-foot convenience store as part of the Planned Unit Development (PUD). The development will also feature a clubhouse and pool amenity.

In February, the Lenexa City Council approved rezoning and the preliminary plan for the project.

Oddo Development is the developer, Klover Architects is the architect and Schlagel & Associates is the civil engineer, according to city documents.
