The Kansas City, Kansas school board approved a plan Tuesday to start spring high school sports on March 1.
Spring conditioning for student-athletes would start Monday.
The school district said that under the plan it will follow Wyandotte County’s COVID-19 recommendations, which would mean no spectators at competitions and only 50% capacity.
School officials said more details would be released soon by schools and coaches.
