KC Council Committee Backs 228-Unit Apartment Plan for Crossroads District
The Crossroads district Downtown is about to get a little busier: The City Council’s planning and zoning committee has given its unanimous approval to a project that would add 228 apartments and parking garage at 20th and Broadway. The city’s Plan Commission had previously signed off on the development in December.
It will entail demolition of the former Faultless Linen building on 19th Terrace. The Opus Development project calls for three parking levels below six floors of apartments.
