Kansas City is ranked in the top ten most affordable and fastest growing cities to consider in 2024.

Kansas City, Mo. has been placed among the 25 most affordable and fastest-growing cities, according to an analysis from GoBankingRates.

Kansas City ranked in the No. 7 spot with leading factors attributed to the average typical home value and the city’s 5-year percentage growth from data analyzed by the U.S. Census Bureau’s most recent American Community Survey. Of the 10 most populous cities in America, four cities populations declined from July 2021 to July 2022, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia, according to U.S. Census Bureau.

A typical home price in Kansas City came to be $223,152 with a 5-year growth of 6.08 percent.
