The Chiefs fell to the Buccaneers 9-31 on the Buccaneer’s home turf at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The game was the first time a team has won the Super Bowl in their home stadium.

Although hopeful for a third Super Bowl win, a combination of factors including numerous penalties and poor offense performance caused the Chiefs to quickly fall behind.

For Tom Brady, the win secured his seventh Lombardi Trophy, the most of any player in NFL history.

This was the Chiefs’ fourth time playing in a Super Bowl. Last year marked the team’s second win. This year, the Buccaneers attained their second-ever win.
