KanEquip JCB announced its expansion into the Kansas City market with a new location in the Santa Fe industrial area.
The new facility, located at 3550 Fairbanks Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, will provide JCB equipment sales, service, and support to customers in the region. KanEquip JCB is a full-service equipment dealership with locations that supply JCB products throughout Kansas, including Wamego, Garden City, Ellsworth, Wichita, Ottawa and Solomon.
JCB is a manufacturing company based in Rocester, Staffordshire, England, that specialises in the production of construction and agricultural equipment. In 2025, JCB recognized KanEquip as one of the three largest Fastrac dealers in the world, according to a release.
“We’ve been fortunate to see tremendous growth with JCB, and Kansas City is a natural next step for us,” Grant Meinhardt, vice president and general manager of KanEquip JCB, said in the release. “Our goal is to bring the JCB product line, along with the level of sales, parts and service support our customers expect from KanEquip, to the Kansas City market.”
The Kansas City location will feature JCB’s extensive lineup of construction equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, as well as other job site equipment.
KanEquip, Inc. operates 14 dealership locations across Kansas. Jim Meinhardt established KanEquip, Inc. in 1999; however, the dealership organization can be traced back to 1967, when the entity was known as Meinhardt Farm Equipment. In 2019, Jim Meinhardt’s sons, Bryndon and Grant Meinhardt, acquired majority ownership of the company.
