Lenexa-based Johnson County Clin Trials announced it has appointed Dan White as its new chief executive officer.
Established in 2005, Johnson County Clin Trials was co-founded by Nathan Arthur and Mazen Zari, who served as co-CEOs for nearly 20 years. The company conducts clinical trials across therapeutic areas, including vaccines, nephrology and cardiometabolic diseases. The two co-founders are stepping away from their CEO positions and into advisory roles, according to a release.

He also served in another COO role at Verista in Fishers, Indiana, for just over a year, according to his LinkedIn profile. In his career, White also served in various other leadership roles at Labcorp Drug Development, ICON plc and Quintiles.
“JCCT has a strong foundation and an exceptional team,” White said in the release. “I’m honored to lead the organization into this exciting new chapter, expanding our network and therapeutic coverage while deepening our impact in clinical research.”
JCCT is headquartered in its Lenexa office located at 16400 College Blvd. In 2024, JCCT opened a second location at 3930 Washington St. in Kansas City, MO.
