Intouch Group Acquisition a Done Deal

The acquisition of Intouch Group, one of the Kansas City region’s most successful entrepreneurial ventures over the past generation, has been completed, the Overland Park company and its new parent, Chicago-based Eversana, have announced.

The deal, for a reported $950 million, was first announced in October. Intouch, founded by Faruk Capan in 1998, has grown to become a full-service global agency network serving the pharmaceutical industry. Along the way, it was frequently among the region’s fastest-growing companies on Ingram’s annual Corporate Report 100, and more recently, became one of the 100 largest private companies in the region; 2020 revenues topped $220 million.

The acquisition, officials said, immediately propels EVERSANA’s position as a $1 billion commercial services leader with more than 40 locations and 5,500 employees worldwide, focused on issues of global pricing, access, reimbursement, promotion, adherence, or product delivery challenges.

“More than twenty years ago, I founded Intouch with a belief that there is no challenge too big to cure,” Capan said when the agreement was first announced. “With EVERSANA, our team takes a monumental step forward. Not only will we continue to ensure our clients’ brands are accessible, but now we’ll also use our leadership in promotion and digital engagement to improve every sector of product commercialization. The challenge may be great, but our tenacity and commitment to innovation is far greater.”

The Intouch agency network comprises nine affiliates: Intouch Solutions, Intouch Proto, Intouch Seven, Intouch International, Intouch Media, Intouch B2D, Intouch Analytics, Intouch Market Access, and Intouch Oxygen.
