Olathe-based Integrated Openings Solutions Holdings, LLC is acquiring Atlass Hardware, increasing its presence in the Southeast Florida market.

Integrated Openings Solutions (IOS) announced its acquisition of Atlass Hardware in a release, last week.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

IOS, a distributor of commercial door and access control solutions, was purchased by Chicago-based private equity firm Frontenac in November. The deal will allow both companies to combine their expertise and resources to better serve customers and address the evolving needs of the Southeast Florida market, executive vice president of IOS, Nelson Fernandez said in the release.

Founded in 2001, Atlas Hardware is also a distributor of commercial openings solutions. The family-owned business offers an in-house installation team and brings decades of experience designing, distributing and servicing commercial openings, according to the release.

“Joining IOS provides us access to resources and capabilities that will enable us to deliver greater value to our customers and opportunities for our Atlass team for many years to come,” president and CEO of Atlass Hardware, Jason Atlass said.

IOS will continue to seek new partnerships with founder and family-run businesses in the commercial openings industry, according to the release.

Headquartered in Olathe, ISO also operates locations in Florida, Missouri, and Alabama.
