Hunt Midwest And Partner Begin Construction On Industrial Park Kentucky

Kansas City-based Hunt Midwest is partnering with Marshall Planing Mill will begin construction efforts on a 300-acre industrial park in Kentucky, the company announced last week.

The Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park at Simpsonville, Kentucky is more than 3.4 million square feet and will begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2023 and vertical construction in early 2024, according to a release.

The site will be directly adjacent to Interstate 64.

The first two buildings planned for construction are the 270,400 square feet Building I which features 210 parking spaces, and 80 tractor trailer spaces and the 486,720 square feet Building II, featuring 206 parking spaces, and 140 tractor trailer spaces.

The Simpsonville project is Hunt Midwest’s second industrial development in Kentucky following the 322,831-square-foot Blankenbaker Logistics Center.
