Sarasota, Fl.-based Harmar Mobility LLC announced it has consolidated both of its Missouri manufacturing facilities to a new location in Raymore.

Harmer is an accessibility and mobility equipment supplier that specializes in stairlifts, platform lifts, vehicle lifts and ramp solutions. The company’s two Missouri-based facilities were previously located at Lake Winnebago and Grandview.

Harmar’s new facility is located at 1204 S. Dean Ave. and is a part of the Raymore Commerce Center. Harmar’s team will occupy roughly 145,000 square feet of Building 2. This new facility gives Harmar triple the space in square footage, according to a release.

Building 2 is a more than 498,000 manufacturing facility and sits atop a 27.53-acre lot. The Raymore Commerce Center features three buildings with more than 2.1 million square feet of industrial space.

The facility also provides nearly twice the office space, more conference room space, extra room for departments to expand, an engineering lab and an employee training area.

“It’s important that our employees are comfortable and happy while here at Harmar,” Harmar CEO Steve Dawson said in the release. “Our Lake Winnebago and Grandview facilities served us well in Harmar’s early years; but this new space in Raymore offers our team so much more room to grow and continue producing quality products.”

Donald “DJ” Rea leads the new facility as director of operations in Missouri.
