Former Sprint campus to become company’s new North American headquarters

November 2021

International fintech company EML Payments has signed a lease to move its North American headquarters to the Aspiria campus in Overland Park, once home to Sprint headquarters. The company will fill nearly 12,000 square feet by April 2022.

EML Payments, an Australia-based fintech company, has plans to move it’s North American headquarters across state lines into Overland Park by April 2022.

The company signed a lease for 11,773 square feet of space on the Aspiria campus, previously the international headquarters to Sprint, Corp.

The move will be a downsize from their current offices on Ward Parkway in Kansas City, Mo., where they currently occupy 24,000 square feet.

Occidental Management, which bought property in 2019, made the announcement on Nov. 30 of EML’s upcoming move to Aspiria. Under a year ago in April 2021, the Overland Park City Council approved rezoning of the campus, about seven months after Occidental Management presented a redevelopment plan to the city.

A number of other companies already call the campus home, including Yellow Corp., TreviPay, CreativeOne, and TTEC Holdings.

Over 1 million square feet of office space is planned at the site along with 380,000 square feet of mixed-use retail and restaurant space.
