Facebook Creates Map That Tracks COVID-19 by County

Facebook, in a partnership with Carnegie Mellon University, has launched a COVID-19 heat map that tracks the virus by county around the country. 

Viewing it on a local basis, one can zero in on particular counties in the Kansas City Metro area.

On the Missouri side, it says, there is reportedly 0.66 percent of the population in Jackson County with symptoms, and Cass County is at 0.68 percent. Clay County has hit 0.9 percent.

In Kansas, Johnson County is at 0.65 percent, while Wyandotte County is at 0.13 percent.
