Mike Maddox will become president and chief executive officer officer of the CrossFirst Bankshares holding company starting on June 1.
He is currently in those roles at Leawood-based CrossFirst Bank. Maddox, who has been president of the bank since 2008, is replacing George Jones, who will take on a new position at vice chairman and serve on the board.
“Mike has more than 20 years of leadership roles in banking, including as CEO of CrossFirst Bank,” CrossFirst Chairman Rod Brenneman said. “He has a strong track record of initiating and driving results, managing operational risk and strengthening compliance.”
