Coping with COVID: Missouri surpasses 4 million total doses administered for the COVID-19 vaccine



The Show-Me state reports it has administered 4,009,681 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as of Wednesday. Overall, the state said 38 percent of the population has received at least one dose, while 29.4 percent have completed vaccination. An estimated 35.7 percent of Kansas Citians have received at least one dose. 

On Wednesday, Missouri’s COVID-19 Dashboard shows just over 4 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Missouri’s population of roughly 6.16 million residents.

According to the dashboard, 4,009,681 doses have been given.

Overall, the state said 38 percent of the population has received at least one dose and 29.4 percent have completed vaccination.

An estimated 35.7 percent of Kansas City residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine. Jackson County is at 34.5 percent, Clay County is at 29 percent, Cass County at 29.6 percent and Platte County with 25 percent.
