Copaken Brooks has acquired the 98,000-square-foot Kansas Commerce Center in Lenexa.

The property acquisition was completed on April 8, according to a Monday release. The Kansas Commerce Center is a mixed-use property located at 95th Street and Lackman Road.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

To date, the property has 18 tenants, including Wallaby’s Grill and Pub, Philips, DePuy Synthes, Neff Power, Social Security Administration, Apria, and Amerita Specialty Infusion Services.

The site consists of four buildings, including two multi-tenant flex buildings offering a blend of office, showroom, and warehouse space; a multi-tenant retail strip center; and a quick-service restaurant with drive-thru occupied by Abelardo’s Mexican Fresh.

“We are disciplined in how we approach acquisitions and focus on assets where we can create value through active asset management, strategic leasing, and long-term ownership,” Executive Vice President of Finance and Asset Management at Copaken Brooks, Brett Brase, said in the release. “We see meaningful upside in this asset and are excited to support is continued performance and long-term value.”

The company said it would oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on tenant engagement, leasing activity, and maximizing performance, according to the release.
