CommunityAmerica Credit Union announced Rhonda Pavlicek has been selected as its new chief financial officer.
Pavlicek brings more than three decades of experience with her to the role. Before joining CommunityAmerica, she served as executive vice president of finance & risk and CFO at University Federal Credit Union in Austin, Texas. Pavlicek served in another executive vice president and CFO role at Texas Dow Employees Credit Union in Houston, Texas.
“I’ve spent most of my career in the credit union industry because I believe in the difference credit unions can make in people’s lives,” Pavlicek said in a release. “I’m inspired by Lisa’s member-driven vision for CommunityAmerica and look forward to building on the credit union’s financial strength to help bring that vision to life.”
Pavlicek succeeds Tim Saracini, who is transitioning to president and COO of CommunityAmerica’s CUSO businesses. Tim is a 38-year financial industry veteran and has held leadership positions at CommunityAmerica since 2005.
“As CommunityAmerica expands nationally, Rhonda’s leadership will help us build on our strong financial foundation, allowing us to continue investing in our members and supporting the growing number of communities we serve,” Lisa Ginter, CEO of CommunityAmerica, said in the release.
Headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas, and founded in 1940, CommunityAmerica is a not-for-profit financial institution with nearly $10 billion in assets and more than 600,000 members. The organization operates branch locations in Arkansas, California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, Tennessee, and Texas.
CommunityAmerica Federal Credit Union ranked No. 10 in the Top Area SBA Lenders ranked by gross volume of Kansas City-area loans approved, as featured in Ingram’s The Power Book 2026 Edition. In 2024, the credit union had total gross SBA loan volume of over $15.5 million, up nearly 17.9% from 2023.
