ChowNow to Open Office in KC Area, Add 100 Jobs to the Region

A Los Angeles-based company has jumped on the Midwestern bandwagon. ChowNow announced today it will open a new office in the Kansas City area and will add 100 jobs to the region. Kansas City beat out other highly competitive markets like Austin and Nashville to gain this development.

ChowNow is an online ordering and marketing platform for restaurants. According to a release from KCADC, “every local restaurant can have its own app, its own online ordering system, and its own digital marketing platform. ChowNow helps independent restaurants compete in the digital age, powering their mobile and web-based ordering systems.”

Additionally, the ordering app sets itself apart from competitors by putting the focus on the restaurants rather than itself. “ChowNow is behind the scenes, providing the same tech savvy, but allowing neighborhood restaurants to keep the spotlight on themselves and their brand.”
