CDC Releases Reopening Guidelines

Increased COVID-19 testing is stressed in a new Centers for Disease report on how the country should reopen in the wake of the virus’ spread across the a nation.

Based on the results of the testing, coupled with the efforts of state and local governments guidelines should also be considered depending on the type of business and institution, it says.

“As businesses and other organizations gradually open after the COVID-19-related slowdown, they will need to
consider a variety of measures for keeping people safe,” said the CDC. “These considerations include practices for scaling up
operations, safety actions (e.g., cleaning and disinfection, social distancing), monitoring possible reemergence
of illness, and maintaining health operations.”
