Better Homes and Gardens KC announces new principal, CEO

Christian Barnes has become the new principal owner, president and CEO at one of the Kansas City metro’s largest residential real estate firms. Barnes entered the real estate scene 13 years ago and is now one of the industry’s top female principal owners.

Entering the real estate world 13 years ago, Christian Barnes has climbed the ladder and has been announced as the new principal owner, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kansas City Homes.

The company is the third largest real estate brokerage in Kansas City. Barnes now serves as one of the top female principal owners in the industry.

Barnes most recently served as Director of Career Development and now succeeds the firm’s founder, David Cooper, who will remain with the company in an advisory capacity.

“When this opportunity was presented by David, I was excited to build upon the company’s many accomplishments and guide it toward continued growth,” Barnes said. “I am honored to carry the torch of leadership and be at the forefront of helping the next generation of real estate leaders reach their highest potential.”

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kansas City Homes has eight offices and 450 agents and is the fourth largest affiliate in the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network.
