Associated Wholesale Grocers Adjusts Leadership

To improve supply performance and provide members with more retail-level support, service and solutions, Associated Wholesale Grocers, the cooperative food wholesaler and second largest company in Kansas City, has realigned its leadership.

Below are the two most notable changes:

• Dan Funk was promoted to chief supply chain and merchandising officer from EVP of merchandising and marketing.
• Jeff Pedersen will now serve as executive vice president and chief sales/support officer. Pedersen was formerly EVP of division operations.

Along with being the second largest company in Kansas City, AWG, has consistently fallen at number two on Ingram’s list of top privately held companies – just under Dairy Farmers of America.
