“TLC Groundhog Run”
Back for its 33rd installment, the Children’s TLC Groundhog Run will draw close to 4,000 runners to Hunt Midwest SubTropolis for the nation’s biggest all-underground 10-kilometer run. A 5K run is also available. It starts at 8 a.m. and the entry fee is $35.

“Child Protection”
The Child Protection Center, which serves abuse victims in Jackson and Cass counties, presents “An Evening with Shane Koyczan,” the Canadian poet and writer who explores those themes in his work.

“Harriman-Jewell Brunch”
William Jewell College presents a 50th Anniversary Gala and Brunch to celebrate its Harriman-Jewell Series, which has operated in the area since 1965. Brunch starts at 11:30 a.m., followed by the concert at 2 p.m., featuring mezzo soprano Joyce DiDonato and

“Valentine Gala”
