Overland Park-based Archer Technologies LLC announced it has acquired an Austin-based tech startup to expand into a new risk management solutions market.
Archer acquired Flisk, a risk management information system (RMIS) technology startup. Flisk will bring new service offerings to Archer’s portfolio such as combining governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and RMIS for the company’s more than 1,300 clients, according to a release.
“Incidents and losses are critical inputs to inform and evaluate an operational risk program,” Archer CEO Bill Diaz said in the release. “With our acquisition of Flisk, we can now provide a critical feedback loop for incorporation into our enterprise GRC capabilities.”
As part of the transaction, Pablo Ninoles, CEO of Flisk, is now Archer’s director RMIS product lead.
“Together, we’re ushering in a new era of efficiency and sophistication for the industry and set new standards for completeness, agility, and actionable insights in risk management,” he said.
The acquisition of Flisk is the merger Archer has announced this year. In February, Archer acquired Compliance.ai, an artificial intelligence-driven company, to supplement its compliance initiatives.
