AdventHealth South Overland Park Finds New CEO

AdventHealth has named Dallas Purkeypile as the president and CEO of its South Overland Park building, assuming leadership effective March 18.

Purkeypile brings years of experience with AdventHealth to the new role. Before this role, he served as president and CEO of AdventHealth Ottawa for more than four years. He also worked at Shawnee Mission Health for over 13 years where he served as an emergency department manager, director of operations and executive director of operations.

“I look forward to tackling new growth opportunities and sustaining the clinical success for this facility as we seek to ensure AdventHealth fills the vital role of providing world-class faith-based health care to the region,” Purkeypile said in a release.

Purkeypile will report to AdventHealth Mid-America Region president and CEO Sam Huenergardt upon assuming the role later this month.

“Dallas is a trusted leader in our region who embodies our mission and vision, while leading with a servant heart,” Huenergardt said in the release. “Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his ability to grow the markets he’s served in, and we are excited to have him join our leadership team at AdventHealth South Overland Park.”

Purkeypile has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Union College and a master’s in business administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
